Amir Shobeiri, who has been with NikaLabs as an Account Director and Managing Partner for the last 2 years, leads the client relationships process and weaves storytelling into his sales and marketing framework to foster growth on his accounts.

NikaLabs goes above and beyond the traditional digital agency as they hone in on their clients’ backgrounds, then work with the best creative team and software available to get that message to the right audience.
Born and raised in California, Amir previously worked on the client services side at a local Bay Area manufacturing firm and a few startups in San Francisco and Palo Alto. To sum it up, Amir supports the relationships with NikaLabs’ partners and clients. He previously worked as an advisor before joining, and has been keeping up client relationships ever since. Right now, NikaLabs is entering a really specific market that they want to explore more, and they are looking to EverString’s platform to get the targets they are looking for and learn how to communicate to them.
Amir Bridges the Gap Between Marketing and Sales
It’s always fascinating to hear about how people choose to enter sales, as everyone’s story is usually very different. As Amir noted, there is little education at the university level for sales – however, that didn’t stop him from studying marketing, which worked to bridge that gap. Amir knew that he really enjoyed working with clients and client services, and building relationships. So naturally, marketing – and eventually, sales – seemed to be the perfect fit as he moved further into his career.

Amir tested out sales to see if it was the right fit, especially since he didn’t have a lot of experience in the beginning days and he wanted to make sure he could be of service on day one.

At the end of the day, all companies want to acquire more customers and increase revenue. But for Amir, the difference he’s noticed in sales success is a bit more nuanced, and it all boils down to having a fresh perspective and new set of eyes with each customer. Essentially, Amir had to get himself acquainted with high-level problem solving, and luckily, EverString was there to help.
