You can only read so many blog articles and attend so many webinars before you start hearing the same things over and over. And spending week after week in the office can get a little tedious. But it can do you a lot of good if you get out of the office, get out of town, rub elbows with your industry colleagues, and learn a lot of new cutting-edge knowledge from the experts in your field.
If you’re in the B2B world, whether you’re a marketer, sales professional, or are responsible for growing your company, there are a few B2B conferences you should attend this year. And while it can get a little expensive to visit all six of the ones we like, you can choose a couple that will give you what you need in terms of new information, opportunities, and contacts.
Here are five must-attend B2B conferences this year.
April 8–10, 2019, San Diego, CA. ContentTECH will focus on how new technologies and processes are changing the practice of marketing in the next five years. According to their website, ContentTECH can help . . .senior marketing executives (who are) truly focused on one thing: the effective use of technology that helps create, manage, deliver, and scale enterprise content and marketing.
April 17–18, 2019, San Francisco, CA With more than 60 speakers and 2,000 attendees, TOPO Summit has different tracks for attendees to learn about Executive Leadership, Sales Development, Sales Effectiveness, Marketing/Sales Ops and Tech, and of course, our favorite, Account Based Marketing. May 5–8, 2019, Austin, TX
This year’s theme “Achieving High Performance by Aligning the B2B Revenue Engine” is sure to be a must-attend for any B2B marketer or sales professional who’s looking for the latest in marketing and sales technology. And if you can’t make it out to the West Coast, then this might be a better option for you. Sirius speakers will discuss the latest research in account based marketing, marketing operations, channel marketing, and even building the tech sales stack to drive revenue.
October 16–18, 2019, Washington DC. One of the largest B2B marketing conferences in the country, the B2B Marketing Summit is always a powerhouse of marketers, practitioners, and industry executives who are learning the latest and greatest advances in marketing, analytics, and technology. There has always been a strong focus on marketing technology, analytics, and using AI and machine learning in new ways.
November 19–22, 2019, San Francisco, CA Possibly the biggest B2B conference in the country, Salesforce’s Dreamforce 2019 is a cloud- and SaaS-based conference that almost literally takes over the city of San Francisco. Attendees learn about CRM and how it relates to sales, marketing, AI, automation, and lead nurturing. At 2018’s conference, there were over 2,700 sessions(!) and 170,000 people (yes, one hundred seventy thousand; that’s not a typo). If you can find a place to stay, it’s a perfect place for anyone interested in account-based marketing and marketing automation.
